Each mL contains: Maropitant (as maropitant citrate) 10 mg, Excipients q.s.ad 1 mL.

Dogs: Treatment of vomiting. Prevention of vomiting. Prevention of vomiting caused by emetogenic drugs and chemotherapeutic agents. Treatment and prevention of chemotherapy-induced nausea. Prevention of perioperative nausea and vomiting and improvement of recovery from general anesthesia. Cats: Treatment of vomiting. Prevention of vomiting and reduction of nausea.

Subcutaneously or intravenously, once daily, at a dose of 1 mg maropitant/kg body weight (1 mL/10 kg body weight) for a maximum of five consecutive days. In dogs with active vomiting, it is recommended to start treatment with Zemethis 1% Injectable solution. Subsequently, Zemethis® Soft Palatable Tablets may be used for the prevention of acute vomiting. When administered intravenously, this veterinary medicinal product should be administered as a single bolus without mixing with any other liquid, administered over 1 or 2 minutes.
