Each 5mL of reconstituted suspension contains:

Doxycycline Monohydrate USP equivalent to Doxycycline (anhydrous)... 50 mg

Excipients q.s.ad. .................................................................................................... 5 mL

Liquadox® is indicated for the treatment of infectious diseases caused by Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, and microorganisms from the Chlamydophila, Mycoplasma, and Rickettsia groups that are sensitive to doxycycline.

Oral administration. The recommended dose is 5 mg/kg every 12 hours or 10 mg/kg every 24 hours (in practice: 0.5 mL/kg every 12 hours or 1 mL/kg every 24 hours) for 10 to 15 days. In cases of bartonellosis, ehrlichiosis, leptospirosis, and brucellosis, the dose is administered for at least 30 days at the discretion of the veterinarian; in cases of feline chlamydiosis, the dose is administered for 3 weeks.
